I had never animated a quadruped before, so I wanted to try something small to see if I could get a handle on it. It’s not finished by any means, but it was a fun little test!

It’s been a while, blog-o-mine. I figured it was time to finally post up some of the doodles I did in an animal character design class I took summer 2008 from David Colman! I still don’t have a scanner, so once again it’s cleaned-up iPhone photos. (Sorry! :<) There’s a lot of things wrong with these drawings, but I learned A LOT in the process. . . that’s all that counts!

A species of Chinese river dolphin was recently deemed extinct. I always thought these guys were so much cooler than regular ole bottlenoses.
